Totalt 63 australsk-produserte fly har blitt jordet rundt om i verden etter dødelig flyulykke i Sverige der ni mennesker døde. Australian Civil Aviation Safety Authority beordret suspensjon av GA8-fly av Victoria-baserte produsenter GippsAero, i påvente av svenske og EU-etterforskning av hendelsen 14. juli.
Flyet i Sverige ble brukt av en fallskjermgruppe da den styrtet i det lokale tjenestemenn beskrev som en av landets verste luftfartsulykker.
GA8-suspensjonsordren varer til 3. august.
