CHICAGO og HOUSTON - United Continental Holdings, Inc. kunngjorde i dag at Continental Airlines har nådd en foreløpig avtale om en ny arbeidskontrakt med International Brotherhood of Teamsters (IBT) som representerer kontinentale flåteservicemedarbeidere. IBT forventes å ha en ratifikasjonsstemme de neste ukene.
“Denne foreløpige avtalen er et produkt av mye hardt arbeid fra forhandlingskomiteene, og jeg er glad for at kontinentale rampe-, laste- og flyplassoperatører har muligheten til å ratifisere en avtale som er rettferdig overfor våre kolleger og rettferdig til selskapet, ”sa Scott Dolan, senior visepresident for Airport Operations i United. "Vi ser frem til å fortsette det produktive samarbeidet med Teamsters."
Avtalen dekker omtrent 7,000 kontinentale flåteservicemedarbeidere lokalisert i hele USA.
